Pluspunten

1. Amazing team and people who support you 2. If the product you sell is best in class, it becomes easier to sell. 3. Awesome opportunities to grow in the organization 4. Great pay and benefits (cant complain on that) 5. Opportunities to travel and network with Amazonians from all around the world 6. The culture is really customer obsessed. Its not one of those companies where you close deals that you benefit you but not eventually great for the customer.

Minpunten

1. It can be overwhelming at times 2. You have to be at your best at all times which means you cannot afford to be comfortable and cruise along. You have the continue to raise the bar. Not bad entirely but a bit challenging to keep up sometimes.

Pluspunten

Ambitious projects if you're in the right team. Typically great team-mates. Don't believe the memes, the ppl are not back stabbing jerks but are overall genuinely nice. Not constrained by budgets when building cool things. Tools while sometimes clunky are powerful.

Minpunten

Schizophrenic lack of focus, entire teams get split, merged and upended multiple times a quarter. Some product managers are disconnected from reality. It didn't use to be the case, the PM-Ts were previously top notch. You're pushed to vibe code everything. Established products with loyal customers are getting neglected. Newer VP level leaders don't seem to know what they are doing. Veteran OG VP level leaders are either leaving in droves or seem stressed or checked out.
