The work/life balance at the company is amazing. Since it's a large company, if you ever want to work on something new, there is likely a team doing that and the process to move teams is not too difficult. Also, the benefits for you and family are great

It is difficult to move up to new positions within your team, so the best way to that is to switch teams. So if you enjoy what you're doing but you wish to move up, you may have to either wait much longer or choose which thing you value more. The pay is also much lower than other tech fields.e
