From the word go I could see so many things that were wrong and strange here, culturally and managerial. There was a huge gap between senior management and the top heavy graduate team. Revit is all the graduates know and think what's on their computer screen is the only reality in a project. Graduates here work unsupervised and are often offended if someone was to ask them what they are doing. Many people here don't know or understand other roles in the industry in relation to construction besides architect or graduate architect. They believe if you don’t have a degree you are stupid, leading to undermining, disrespect and ignorance to levels I have never seen. Due to the lack of proper team formation I have seen here the graduates severely lack structure and training. Including their communication with people outside the firm that I personally heard demonstrating their lack of knowledge and arrogant levels of rudeness. They will find it very difficult to work in other firms, if not be unemployable all together. Team leaders report anything and everything to senior management backstabbing their own team. The culture is negative.
