Pluspunten
Having fun with other members of staff is probably the only thing that's good.
Minpunten
This isn't for all Argos stores, but I feel after my terrible experience, I've just got to put this. Management in my store was more than shocking. Bullying, harassment, crap pay, being made to stay longer than your shift without payment, favoritism, management and team leaders discussing staff members in an unprofessional manner, staff members crying due to treatment from management, in my store, team leaders and managers (apart from one) rarely helped out and stood discussing their private lives whilst you're left to struggle serving customers, picking items (using the worst designed headset system that won't listen to you and have you going completely mental) and putting away delivery. "If you need a hand just ask"- I'm sorry, but I shouldn't have to ask, you should be pulling your weight. Staff were mocked for being upset and passive aggressively harassed in briefings. Constantly being pushed to harrass customers with Argos cards, care and add on's. And being patronised and told weekly when you're not doing well. It's more like a nursery school than a workplace. I'm sure other stores are better, but from my experience, get a job where you're going to be paid your worth, respected and valued as an employee. Stupid contracts, heard of people who work 20 + hours every week and are on 3 hour contracts. 3 hour shifts? Are you joking?! Being bullied in the workplace by a MANAGER is disgusting. I'm more than glad I left for somewhere where I feel like I'm a value to the company and where management treat everyone as equals and not children. 10% discount for all the staff do for the company too?
