Pluspunten
Free lunch x3 weekly, commuter benefits, dog-friendly office, snacks in office, and comfortable office space. People who work here are genuine, and everyone is drinking the koolaid of making it a place where people want to work. There is little ego from most, and it's encouraged to give feedback freely (both positive and negative). The crew that works at BackerKit is definitely a friendly, smart, and kind, and comes from a variety of backgrounds and specialties.
Minpunten
- Pay is not as competitive as it could be, esp. in the Bay Area (but benefits help) - Health insurance not as good as it could be, and is not 100% covered by employer -There can be some silo-ing between departments, and it can be somewhat cliquey at first - 9am daily meetings can be a bit of a pain (only because getting to SoMa during peak rush hour sucks) - Despite wanting to be open to doing things other ways, upper management has their ideas and stick to them most of the time instead of fully taking in feedback from employees.
