As an industry leader, we are very proud of the culture we’ve built and are still trying to evolve and grow. Our talent retention is well above the tech industry benchmarks, and have been tracking at over 80% retention for the last two years. We’re also quite proud of our recent award as runner up for Chicago’s Best Tech Workplace for Diversity recognized at this year’s Timmy Awards by Tech in Motion. One of our top accomplishments this year is our ability to attract a lot of top talent from the industry, and we do that largely through employee referrals and social networking. Our very recent infusion of $20M in capital creates value for all of our people who share in it through equity. That said, Backstop is not for everyone and we have high performance standards. It’s unfortunate that competitors or recruiters use negative selling tactics, but we recognize it is a reality.
