They expect self-starting, solutions minded empowerment throughout the chain of the organization. If you're looking for micromanagement, this is not the place for you. Most people who have worked here stay for at least 4 years which means there is a lot of institutional confidence and solid relationships. I've seen people go on to Google and Microsoft so it's a solid training ground. They are good about boundaries - ie. not emailing after hours or on the weekends.

As a small company with a professional services model it means most of us are contracted as 1099s. This is great for writing off expenses and means we keep the money we make. Compensation is competitive both for ongoing staff and one off facilitators, but it's still "eat what you kill".
