During my tenure at Botkeeper, management was chaotic and lacked leadership. Company insight or direction desired by executives was never clearly passed along by management and it was often expected that a new hire should "just know". Management often seemed lost and overwhelmed and offered very little direction or insight; making the job very difficult to succeed in. Too often was management quick to brush off communication and opportunities to mentor because of being "busy" or obvious lack of knowledge.
