Company structure is a joke with no real HR. Free lunches are only there to persuade you to never leave your desk. If you go out for lunch it reflects poorly on you. Work hours are 9-6 with expectations of always staying later. Senior management are all friends and have no idea how to properly manage people or a company. Some account managers have no business managing others as they do not even communicate effectively (or at all) with their own team. Employees are hired in large groups from recruiters (under the impression of becoming full-time) before the busy season and are promptly let go once the season is over. You record what you’ve done down to every minute to see what “time is being spent on” which is insulting because this is clearly a lie and done to see who is getting let go first out of the latest round of new hires. Senior management tries to act like they’re doing you a favor by giving you free lunch when negotiating salary even though you’re basically expected to give them an extra hour of your life by working through lunch.
