Your manager is most likely someone with company connections and the ones that don’t follow rules or protocols are the ones most likely to get promotions! And then the higher ups aren’t doing much either except maybe sending a mobile Gmail while the specialist level people do all the legwork. My boss didn’t provide any guidance other than to make sure my work was like theirs. I asked for feedback mid way through the year before the annual review and it was fine until my boss found out I was considering other jobs within the company. It was pretty concerning. Then I eventually got placed on a PIP and let go after a very short and unprofessional annual review (bosses husband walked behind the screen in an undershirt). Had a good time in the beginning with the swag and the glitz but everything that glitters isn’t gold I guess! Also the lack of diversity is super concerning. I don’t recommend this place to anyone looking to actually grow with hardworking professionals.
