Unless you're prepared to devote everything to the place and live on nothing and wait, get the most of what you can then move on. The training is worth so much.

Your manager can make or break you. The largest accounts are completly controlled by management and given only to those that show their worth. You will find opportunities of your own, the big stuff is out there and owned. These guys are 4+years most cases. The goals are huge, sure they are attainable at times. Basing the worth of a customer on their past sales? Alot of these customers make a one time purchase of Microsoft and you spend the whole year chasing tail.
