The environment is cutthroat- people will hoard work so they don’t get light, while other people struggle to stay afloat and have to go home without pay or use up vacation time. The environment is depressing- when project budgets get tight, project managers will find you and chew you out for charging time to their project. Project managers will audibly chew people out on the phone too, and it’s distracting when you’re trying to focus on work. Environment is harsh and unwelcoming.
