Individual contributors and employees work really hard and also tend to be really down to earth. I met some really good people during my 10 months

Minpunten

Too many to list, but I'll keep it as brief as I can; 1. First line management tend to be micro managers and fluctuate widely on their asks on a day to day basis 2. Minimal long term strategy on how to grow accounts. Things are done solely based on the whims of a select group of employees in the inner circle 3. Lack of communication from senior management. 4. Toxic work environment encouraged from first line managers and senior management across functions 5. Ever changing org structure with positions and responsibilities changing on a constant basis 6. Preference for young individuals who have only worked at Celonis. They tend to get special treatment and put in management positions regardless of performance or experience 7. Disrespectful tone set by mid-level and senior managers, promoting a function vs. function culture

In the following, we would like to comment on a few of your points. Celonis is still in growth mode and things can change quickly here, sometimes that comes with some growing pains. In response to the current market and customer needs, we have made some tough decisions to simplify and evolve our organizational structure. Our executive team doesn’t make these changes lightly and does so with the utmost care possible to make Celonis a stronger company, a company focused on creating value for customers and services focused on world-class delivery. Unlimited PTO and smart people, who unfortunately are leaving.

Minpunten

Sales and technical teams are not always set up to succeed together, which creates unnecessary pressure on technical teams and contributes to burnout. There is a strong focus on growth, but employee retention does not receive the same attention. Compensation is not always competitive, and career advancement processes can feel inconsistent depending on the opportunities available to you. All approvals run up to founder level.
