However it is not required at all. I live near SF and never went in and I felt like that had zero impact on their view/opinion of me. - They care about your development as an engineer. Compared to the competitors they move much quicker with significantly better strategic moves. At ChannelMeter your voice will be heard, and good ideas can get implemented right away and impact can be seen quickly. The CEO has been in the space for a long time and can provide a wealth of knowledge. He is very familiar with the both startup space, fund raising, sales and online video world. The CEO is very proactive to help employees ramp up and become experts in their field. From my time there many of the people that came on board did internships all ended up with great jobs.
