Pluspunten

Chart Hop as a company has excellent hiring practices, they for the most part have put together a great team. I have never been at a company that does performance and compensation reviews more transparently. The product is gorgeous and truly useful. Fully remote is a huge plus, and I felt super connected to the team despite being all remote. This company can write the playbook for creating a great team remotely. Flex Fridays were also a great perk, and my manager gave me the autonomy to do my work on my terms.

Minpunten

Like others have written they have had a few layoffs, but honestly if you join a start up this is the risk you take and doesn't deserve a bad review because of it. If you value job security over all the join a more established company. Only other con is that as a start up there weren't a lot of robust testing and processes to follow when updating the code and features, this often lead to the product breaking unexpected.

Pluspunten

Product is wildly impressive and everyone at charthop has been so welcoming and kind as new joiner. Everyone seems to be here for the right reason and it is refreshing how aligned Leadership is to their customers and driving business outcomes.

Minpunten

Nothing yet, I would love to see Onboarding eventually back in person vs Virtual but I know that would only make sense when the time is right with many teams calendars.

Pluspunten

Fully remote with okay pay

Minpunten

Severely under-resourced team. Everyone works hard but without clear direction or shared goals. Product decisions chase the next shiny thing instead of prioritizing smart moves for customers and prospects. Competing in a crowded space with limited resources and no real product differentiation is close to impossible, and the result is a "nice to have" product rather than a "need to have." There's no real culture, no company-wide events or team gatherings, and no effort to build community or keep people engaged at all. It can feel pretty demoralizing.
