The CEO has undeniably made a lot of terrible business decisions in the past, but lacks the self-awareness to understand the implications this has had on the company. On the surface, he made it seem like everything was okay, but obviously it hadn't been. I just wish that they were more transparent about it, and thought for the long-term so that employees had time to explore their options.
When they announced to lay off half of the company, they did so without any kind of head's up in a team-wide meeting, which is unprofessional and quite frankly cruel in a company that supposedly practices "Focus on People" and "Work for Justice" as their company culture.
I do hope for the best for the company, however I do not trust the CEO or any of the executive level management there.
