Pluspunten

1. People: One of the most friendly and supporting people I've ever work with in Vietnam. No drama, no political much. Everyone is focusing on working and growing; with supportive & understandable managers. 2. No OT: paid OT (x2 during working day; x3 on weekend), because of that, they don't encourage you to work overtime; TM are easy to approach to discuss about workload if you burnout. 3. Office facilities: their location isn't a big office, specially there're more and more staffs hiring, a new office is needed. However, the working place is quite convenience and comfortable with pantry full with snacks & food, self-serve matcha & coffee station, fresh fruits during lunch, etc. - Performance review twice a year - English requirement, good to improve your language skill, also have 1:1 English program with a part-time teacher

Minpunten

- No 13th month salary - Social insurance not based on your full salary - Salary raise is round 10% a year, may not enough to cover inflation in Vietnam - Career path is there but isn't clear, promotion pay doesn't really reflect the position - Need to be more inclusive, and take care of other locations/offices in Vietnam

Pluspunten

Great company culture that makes it easy to collaborate across teams. Competitive salary and compensation package. Exposure to different fields and industries keeps the work varied and interesting.

Minpunten

Like any fast-paced environment, there can be a lot going on at once, which requires good time management and prioritization. Nothing significant to call out beyond the typical pains of a dynamic workplace.

CodeLink may have a little bit of technical capabilities, but until the company learns to lead with competence, honesty, and professionalism, it will continue to lose talent.

Minpunten

From the outset, the company painted a picture of international standards, transparency, and collaboration. Unfortunately, the reality couldn’t be further from the truth. Leadership is severely lacking. The founder/CEO is completely incapable of running the company and doesn't have any strategic planning for the company. There is no clear direction, no accountability, and no understanding of how to manage or scale a company beyond basic outsourcing. Decisions are reactive, communication is poor, and critical feedback is either ignored or seen as a threat. HR misrepresents the company culture. During the hiring process, I was told CodeLink values openness, learning, and teamwork. In practice, it's a hierarchical and passive-aggressive environment where critical issues are swept under the rug and difficult employees are left unchecked—often protected due to personal ties rather than merit. Despite marketing itself as a company serving international clients, the internal team struggles to meet even basic expectations. One of the key marketing team members cannot communicate in English, which is shocking given the company's supposed global positioning. This creates serious bottlenecks in delivery and collaboration with clients abroad.
