Where to begin... Leadership operates in an extremely closed (literally and figuratively) space. It is incredibly toxic, encouraging team members to throw each other under the bus, pass blame when possible, and is constantly clouded by toxic masculinity. The parts of management/leadership that aren't male dominated, are primarily skinny, white, blonde women.
While some reviews shared the positivity of career growth through promotions, many folks were promoted without any real training to assist them in that new role, and they were ultimately set up to fail. And please take the 5 star and positive reviews with a huge grain of salt - many were placed there to benefit the overall score and ratings of the organization (notice how many were posted on/around the same day...).
The pay is sub-par for the area and when compared to similar industries, and leadership likes to blame that on being a "start-up", even though they've been in existence since 2014. Besides that, leadership (ahem, the male leadership) frequently takes trips to Florida on the company dollar.
The CEO in particular leads based on fear based methods and regularly blames others (i.e. people he has fired) for the failures of the company, but very rarely shares the successes with the rest of the organization.
There's also an incredibly apparent and uncomfortable disconnect between the business operations and medical operations of the clinics and business as a whole, and unfortunately the employees, and ultimately the patients, are suffering because of it.
Given the nature of the business, there is an unusual amount of company activities (lunches, dinner meetings, outings, etc.) where alcohol is present - considering that one of the reasons Column Health exists is to treat substance use disorders, this seems odd and out of place.
