Pluspunten
Although I have more cons than pros, I rated Common Threads 3 stars because there is potential. I still think that partners & donor should support org. The kids and families and dedicated staff deserve the support. Mission & People The kids that they teach. The company’s mission is important and the people who you get to work with daily are nutrition-minded and passionate about what they do. Most roles are remote or hybrid. I was hybrid.
Minpunten
People While there are wonderful people who deserve a leader who respects them, this can also be a con. There are longer term staff who are resistant to change and enable the CEO's behaviors. Turnover is high The company never goes a few weeks without someone quitting. Since I left I heard there were layoffs. The pay is low. Many nonprofits offset low pay with top-of-the-line benefits. Common Threads does not. Everything is urgent and a priority. The CEO can’t discern what's important and some random thought that pops up in her head.
