-There are some competent individuals here. Mid level managers put forth strong effort to hold things together, and to support their people. -Technology remains interesting and challenging. -Nice office space.

In my opinion: -There is no strategic vision communicated from upper management. In fact, there is little in the way of true upper management left. All of highly experienced, visionary leaders left business ages ago. -Communication abhorrent. -Completely clueless about SW development and program management. -Process is basically nonexistent, and the work quality is heading downhill. Those at the exec. level seem to have good intention. Either don't have capacity, competence, or initiative to drive positive change. -As more people with tribal knowledge flee, those left behind take on more responsibility, and receive nothing in return but long hours. -Few self-starters stay. Good employees burn out and leave. Apathy prevails, energy low, and all in all it very depressing work environment. -The business offer few incentives, benefits and pay. But it easy to land a very overinflated title. Layers of directors and VPs with no or few direct reports. -Anyone with industry experience can see what a mess this place is. They can’t seem to get many qualified individuals inside the door.
