It was nice of them to come and move into the old T-Mobile building in town and to raise up the pay for Customer Service Representatives. The owners are also really trying to make it fair to the employees by adjusting goals when they are too lofty to achieve.
Minpunten
The local leadership states that they have an open door policy and that you can come to them with any feedback without retribution but that is not the case. If you suggest or comment on something that you feel is not working locally in that call center you will be suspended or fired for another reason. Once you give feedback that you are not going to go along blindly with every change that they locally want to make that is not company wide, you might as well put your notice in to quit. The HR department will claim to be there to protect you but they are clearly there to protect the company. The local leadership can say whatever they want and expect their supervisors to not mirror that behavior, they also have instilled a very "cut throat" competitive mentality in their supervisors making them a very difficult group to work for and causing a hostile work environment. During most of the meetings with supervisors, the local leadership was very sarcastic and non motivational. They will say that they are not micro managers but they truly are in a passive aggressive way. The culture in Redmond does not create trust but it does create fear. They also already know who they want to promote before it happens so if you are not one of those folks that has been "ear marked" for promotion don't bother to apply.
