      Pluspunten

      The people were friendly. The office was trendy. Relaxing work environment. Conveniently located a 20 minute walk from Penn Station; in between Madison Square Park and Union Square - nice places to eat, sit and people watch during break time.

      Minpunten

      It was implied when I began that being an intern would bring with it some opportunities to learn, see, do... however it really was nothing more than a glorified administrative assistant/office manager job.

      We had a few fun Friday lunches and they do a week mixer type thing where you get to know the other people in the office. Lots of free time to work on other projects. Get to use your own computer to work on other projects. Lots and lots and lots of downtime. One client was fun to work with. The rest were boring.

      Minpunten

      As a freelancer they did not pay me on time. They kept making excuses that they kept forgetting to submit my PO to the office in France. I had to take them to small claims court and then one of the higher ups turned it on me and threatened to sue me in return. I had to jump through hoops and hoops to get paid for the project I was on. The CEO is a jerk and yelled at me after my contracted work hours.
