Summer family party on Long Island near company headquarters.
Minpunten
The Rhode Island office is the forgotten step child of the company. Terrible vacation policy - What they call three weeks vacation is 10 days of vacation and 5 days of release/sick time. Any additional sick time is unpaid. Stingy benefits- Expensive health insurance with high out of pocket expenses. Discretionary fluctuating 401K match. Crazy Training Policy - They make employees sign a contract when they send them to training requiring them to pay back the training costs if they leave before a specified time period. Completely inflexible and old fashioned work policies - They never close the office for blizzards or even Super Storm Sandy and have an anti work at home policy. Still require most of their work force to wear suits and ties and on the rarely offered casual day, they make it a point of disallowing sneakers. Cheap - Insufficient investment in technology upgrades and software utilities.
