Pluspunten
*decent starting wage, but losing ground as other companies raise their wages at a faster rate than CyRide does. *You get to choose your schedule, but it is based on seniority, so if you're new you might not get much choice *They will pay out vacation time when you leave
Minpunten
*Pay is losing competitiveness - especially because many lower paying companies offer benefits and CyRide does not. Try paying $700+ per month in health insurance and see how far their pay will get you... hint, it takes you down $5+ per hour in pay to compensate for no benefits. *NO BENEFITS for employees working 39 hours per week. Only so many full-time slots and you'll never get one. (yes, there is vacation time, but it accrues slowly and is hard to take time off) *Works well as a part-time job *Other transit companies offer the same hourly wage, but they offer benefits and they don't limit their full-time employees to 24 *Supervisors are terrible *They hire dispatchers to fill ethnic and diversity check-boxes instead of on merit *Upper management and the City both look down on drivers
