Management has created a toxic environment where employees are forced to find loopholes in working to keep up with the demand. It creates poor relationships with coworkers and fosters bad career habits. Management expects high numbers and praise those who have taken advantage of the system in order to inflate their numbers while people who complete things ethically are told they’re not doing enough. It’s almost impossible to get ahold of managers and most of the time emails are left unresponded to and MS Teams messages are opened and ignored. Economical is not a bad company, but they are completely unwilling to invest in innovating their systems and processes. There is a dangerous amount of room for error in every transaction and each employee is held personally responsible for mistakes that could be easily avoided through updating systems. Economical is in the process of demutualizing and must adapt to modern technology. Manual systems are outdated, time consuming and inaccurate. Using systems like this will hold the company back from being a top insurance company.
