Pluspunten
Good place to learn how to work directly with OEM manufacturers in outdoor power equipment, marine, construction and general industrial markets. Also a good place to learn how to work in teams for longer design cycle programs, often more than 12 months in length. If you're a recent grad or young (under 30) this would be the company to cut your teeth at for a few years, then move on.
Minpunten
The company is now second-generation owned with weak management and low industry experience. This is a classic "my way or the highway" place to work, so if you're the type of person that feels their opinion needs to be heard, or you want to make suggestions to senior management, this is not the company for you. In the past year (2008) there has been too much emphasis on non-value-added activities like building expansion. One other thing. If you're looking for a company with high morale, again, this is not the place for you. In fact, as we turn the page on 2009 morale at the company is at its low.
