There is a healthy amount of engagement with managers to get you started on the right path as a new hire. I think there is a very fine line for management style's tendency to become either micro-managing or lacking engagement, but I feel that there is a perfect balance here for me so far. My 1:1s with my manager has been very helpful, as this role is very metrics oriented. He's provided real-time constructive feedback and offer ways I can work to improve my numbers. Other ASDR peers are always willing to help with any question as we support and encourage each other. It's nice to be part of a sales department that celebrates each others' wins. There really is no room for a toxic competitive culture and the managers have found a way to make this a friendly yet rewarding competition.

I feel that your sales performance can be heavily impacted based on which territory you are placed in. Deltek offers many different products, and I was fortunate to be assigned to one of the more well known products (Costpoint) and have had many successful moments. I hope that the management is mindful of this in making decisions for outlining different quotas based on product and target market.
