Pluspunten
Great team, fun events, ping pong table, good comradery.
Workplace culture was pretty great because the people that were in the building were genuinely great individuals for the duration of my stay, for the most part although there are always some inevitable outliers.
Minpunten
The practical reality is the executive brass a.k.a. "college buddies" are cashing out while undervaluing and underpaying their employees.
A typical day at work consists of receiving and processing orders or email requests, following up on submitted orders, confirming delivery time lines, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Initially I learned an immense amount of information about the inner workings of the promotional products industry and corporate life. Became thoroughly involved with both later on in my tenure.
Management is inadequate at best, there is no clear and concise direction for the company, everything is basically learned on the fly and there is zero accountability for the executive team members who are supposed to be setting the example for the rest of the team.
Depending on the role that you have, the hardest part about the job varies but for myself it was finding direction and purpose when we set specific goals, targets, mission, vision, etc. but the actions of some team members completely contradicted them and there is zero accountability for it.
The most enjoyable part of the job is the team members and the relaxed culture of the group, selecting top notch individuals was a gift there but not retaining them or rewarding and treating them right was the curse.
