It is the management who is killing this company. The upper managers have no research or lab experience but they become senior directors in 3-4 years while working remote. Everyone in the department dedicate 50% of their time making beautiful slides to show and make understand the day to day work in the lab to director working remotely. You dont get any scientific input from them rather than asking about timelines. Managers at director level are extremely favor certain people that implement senseless projects and stupid decisions because they only hear what their favorite people say. And they get promoted every year. The whole program was shut down leaving everyone without jobs because of these brainless managers. The most toxic culture that I have ever seen in my life
