Large organization with room for advancement. Opinions valued and welcome.

Minpunten

No training program, lack of advancement opportunities within a team, must move to other teams for upward movement in the organization. Those currently in team lead or management positions have been around for some time and are not going anywhere. No levels within a team. Technology a little far behind, not much budge room to accomodate needs.

Easy and straightforward application process. Seamless hiring experience with excellent communication throughout. Positive, supportive company culture that makes new employees feel welcome from day one.

Minpunten

There is a learning curve when adapting to Google workspace, but the company provides plenty of training resources and support to help new employees get up to speed.

My direct manager. Comp plan if you’re lucky enough to find several whale clients, and if you’re lucky, the commission is approved.

Minpunten

There are a lot. First, office politics. Equifax expects employees to be very corporate and robotic. Metrics metrics metrics. 100% focused on revenue, not customers. Metrics, metrics, metrics. PIP overuse. Even when you’re 150% to yearly plan 6mo in, they expect 300%. Make sure to keep receipts. Senior management will find the most ridiculous ways to push reps out, continently right before a huge payout of a very delayed commission plan. (Sell something in Jan 2025, you will only get a fraction of commission until June 26). That’s if the exception committee approves payout (which never happens). If you sell a big deal, don’t expect to get paid 100% of what the plan says.
