Pluspunten

High margins means the company is willing to invest in reasonably decent commissions for high performers. Generally fun environment with plenty of smart people.

Minpunten

While the management has made several changes for the better to the quality of staff, there are still several legacy members of staff who aren't as strong as the new blood coming in.

Easy and straightforward application process. Seamless hiring experience with excellent communication throughout. Positive, supportive company culture that makes new employees feel welcome from day one.

Minpunten

There is a learning curve when adapting to Google workspace, but the company provides plenty of training resources and support to help new employees get up to speed.

My direct manager. Comp plan if you’re lucky enough to find several whale clients, and if you’re lucky, the commission is approved.

Minpunten

There are a lot. First, office politics. Equifax expects employees to be very corporate and robotic. Metrics metrics metrics. 100% focused on revenue, not customers. Metrics, metrics, metrics. PIP overuse. Even when you’re 150% to yearly plan 6mo in, they expect 300%. Make sure to keep receipts. Senior management will find the most ridiculous ways to push reps out, continently right before a huge payout of a very delayed commission plan. (Sell something in Jan 2025, you will only get a fraction of commission until June 26). That’s if the exception committee approves payout (which never happens). If you sell a big deal, don’t expect to get paid 100% of what the plan says.
