Pluspunten
The internship gave me the opportunity to contribute to an innovative healthcare application focused on voice data collection and analysis, which has clear real-world impact. I gained valuable experience working with backend integration, database design, and cloud-based infrastructure on AWS while also collaborating with a distributed, multicultural team. The structured program — including daily reports, weekly check-ins, and mentorship — kept the project on track and helped me develop strong communication and project management skills alongside technical ones.
Minpunten
The program is unpaid, which can be restrictive for some participants. Working across global time zones sometimes slowed decision-making and communication. At times, tasks were less clearly defined, requiring interns to self-direct and research solutions independently, which could be challenging for those less experienced.
