Negligible pay for legacy Fairpoint and new employees that are not represented. Systems never worked correctly, should have stuck with Verizon's. Too many holdover "us vs. them" mentalities that impede progress in all aspects of the business. Tunnel vision departmental managers that refuse to see the bigger picture (a lot of passing the buck). Micromanaging employees. Executive decisions based on a spreadsheet, from afar. High turnaround of senior leadership. No clear direction from senior leadership. Aging fleet that is not being replaced. Aging plant that is not being fixed. Culture is flagging in terms of serving the customer - a lot of "give a darn" meters have pegged out.
