Minpunten
Mismanaged-most of the managers are in their 20’s and have no idea what they’re doing. Area managers are unapproachable and walk around with god complexes. Bad communication- since no one knows what they’re doing, communicating rules of how to take time off etc is incorrectly given and then they write you up. They make it extremely difficult to get a hold of them. I’ve called the HR office 15 times in one day, and left 5 voicemails and have yet to get a call back. If you can’t make it into work, they give you a number to call, but no one ever answers the phone. They tell you, “if you’re going to miss work, just call the line.” But then you get penalized for not showing up. Even if you speak to a live person, that person won’t take down your name or pass along the message to anyone. I was encouraged to use my PTO for times I couldn’t make it into work. When I did request PTO and got it approved I was written up, saying that “I still missed my shift.” They treat their employees terribly and only see you as body to get work done. When people started to quit, and we were short people, they still expected you to get the workload done. It takes about 10 people to run the department I worked in and when we were down to 5 they still expected you to get it done and then pushed a deadline. We were doing several jobs busting our butts and we got zero recognition.
