The core issue is leadership and direction. Strategy and priorities shift frequently enough that it's difficult to build sustained momentum, and decisions don't always reach the people executing them with enough clarity or context. I also observed dynamics that, in my experience, did not treat all employees equitably, which affected how work and influence were distributed.
