Pluspunten
I worked at Evergreen Lodge, and there were crazy hectic days but also really fun enjoyable days in the dining room. It is definitely a family atmosphere in a small town where your business becomes everyone’s business so be careful with what you say if you want to avoid small town drama. There are lifers here, some who were born and raised in groveland, so if you go back to visit there will always be someone you know there. The location is incredible and you will make a lot of good friends. I’d recommend working here for the benefit of being so close to Yosemite and meeting new people. Also consider the offsite housing, it’s a far drive but the housing is great
Minpunten
The dorms were in really bad shape when I lived there, but I’ve heard they are making updates to them. Also the staff meals are always a question depending on who is cooking, some meals are amazing some are downright inedible. Party atmosphere at times, especially during the slow season.
