Pluspunten

The patients are what make this organization. The over worked medical staff and other support staff are great as well, aside from the occasional complaint(s) about patients. Might want to keep it down, patients do hear you when you complain about them and that you "don't want to be there today." The variety of services offered to patients is a great asset too. A lot of these folks get turned away elsewhere.

Minpunten

Most managers and upper management are awful!!! They are not the greatest. The peons are often the ones who take on the bulk of the work while upper management discuss their personal lives and whether or not they meet quota/receive a bonus. Management at this company are not super approachable nor do they care about the well being of their employees-the heart and soul that make the organization and what keeps them in business and the reason the managers and upper management have a paycheck. Another thing to keep in mind is how you push way your patients and your staff by telling them one thing and doing another. Gina (CEO) absolutely needs to re-evaluate her managers and upper management because most of them do not belong in their position and do not have the skill or ability to hold such position.

Great benefits and multiple incentive programs.

New initiatives are great but can sometimes feel as though they may need more vetting.

Pluspunten

Human-Centered: great care of both patients & employees! Financially Sound business practices: a thriving not-for-profit Community Health Center that invests back into its' staff and service lines. Adaptable: Maintains relevance by routinely assessing the needs of employees and patients, tries new things to meet changing needs. Good Culture: Works hard to encourage and maintain a culture of acceptance and civility toward all humans.

Minpunten

Working for a not-for-profit is not for everyone. The lower pay scale offered to RNs working for a Community Health Center, as compared to working for a hospital system, in my opinion, is far outweighed by a robust benefits package, employer kindness, and a genuine culture of service.
