FlytBase is a textbook example of how not to run a company. The leadership runs on delulu, not vision. There’s no clarity, plans change every few weeks, and there’s no genuine respect for employees. Everything feels reactive — decisions are made impulsively and reversed just as fast. You’re expected to work like a machine with no regard for time, health, or sanity — 24x7, round the clock. Communication is weird — you’ll get gaslighted, and it often feels like a “match won on technicality” type of conversation. Anything you share gets dismissed or weaponized. The management talks a lot about innovation and ownership, shows videos of “top faces,” and constantly compares themselves to them — but they’re nowhere near that level of operation. There’s no career growth, no structure (their faves sit in a circle), and definitely no empathy. The micromanagement is almost comedic — they expect you to deliver things in minutes just because they throw cash at AI like they’re in a club. Even your personal life somehow becomes their business.
