HR does not have your back, and they, along with your managers, will throw you under the bus the second they come under heat for their own problems. There is a big emphasis on having "better filing numbers," yet it is difficult to parse what that actually means, and somehow it is the fault of paralegals for not doing enough. They want to squeeze as much productivity out of you as humanly possible. You are there to churn out visas, and you are treated like a replaceable, insignificant cog instead of the human being that you are.
