Unfair pay scale New hires get paid more than those who have been working here for a long time and hold a higher position i.e. a new groundhand will make 20/hr while a truck lead is making 18.50/hr. They constantly will say the promotion pay is on its way whenever you ask about it it's been over 6 months Leadership will discuss an employee with other employees pitting them against each other. The boss will bill for jobs before they are even done just to make his production look good. You get told it is 40 hrs a week four 10 hr days with overtime being not guaranteed Then they let you work only 30 hrs and say 40 was not guaranteed. They preach safety but as soon as the safety man leaves they contradict their words. The current boss doesn't even know how to do the job and doesn't care about the employees. I believe the boss is also racist and tries to only certain colors and if he does hire someone else he looks for a way to let them go as soon as he can. Some of the workers smoke pot and even after it gets reported the boss doesn't do anything.

GridSource was a fantastic company to work for. The founders of the 4 purchased companies had great vision and leadership.

All of the company's vision was stripped away by the current executive leadership. We were a set of companies built on providing a great service to our customers, with each of the four legacy companies bringing something unique to add value. GridSource is in an industry with just a few possible customers, and focus should have remained on building current relationships, but instead, focus turned toward new customer acquisition, in an industry with maybe 30 customers total. A huge sales team has been hired, along with a ton of corporate support, with no results to show for it. The company desperately needs to return to its roots. The current leadership is incapable of doing so and needs to be completely turned over. The people who built each of the legacy businesses spent decades cultivating their relationships with the customers, they should be in charge of ensuring this going forward.
