      - Hardly did any work except for renewal time.

      Minpunten

      Account Executives rarely did any work. Would just roll over sums insured from previous years and charge a huge fee or commission. AJG in Melbourne managed a handful of people before taking OAMPS. Small time managers who looked after a few people were suddenly looking after hundreds of people. Little experience and completely incompetent. Most staff have little/no tertiary education and are more like car salesmen. No one sets out to work in insurance.

      Salary was in market range.

      Manager took zero interest in me. I spoke to her 2 times in the 6 months I was there. It’s just an endless grind to various SEC and investor required reporting. By the time you finish you need to start over. Almost all process are broken. This $13B company runs on excel. It’s a real risk that this company collapses on itself. They purchase companies and destroy everything good about their cultures. I was so happy and content until they purchased us. The executives paint a fake picture of their culture to the street.
