I went from Customer Success to independently building an internal analytics dashboard that multiple departments now rely on. 2. Exposure to enterprise customers Opportunity to work with large multi-location customers and understand complex implementations, integrations, and stakeholder management. Good place to learn how SaaS works beyond just support tickets. 3. Cross-functional collaboration Regular interaction with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Leadership. You learn how product decisions are made and how customer feedback influences development. 4. Steep learning curve You'll develop problem-solving skills quickly. Great environment if you enjoy figuring things out instead of following predefined processes. 5. Leadership is approachable Easy to communicate ideas and improvements. Good work often gets noticed because the company is still relatively small. 6. Freedom to experiment If you identify a problem and propose a solution, you're generally encouraged to build it rather than wait for someone else.

Minpunten

1. Processes are still evolving As with many growing startups, documentation and standardized processes can be inconsistent. Sometimes you need to create structure yourself. 2. Workload can become unpredictable Enterprise customers bring urgent issues and changing priorities. Context switching between implementations, escalations, and internal projects can be frequent. 3. Wearing multiple hats Roles can expand well beyond the job description. This is excellent for learning but may not suit someone looking for clearly defined responsibilities. 4. Internal tools and workflows are continuously changing You'll need to adapt quickly as products and internal processes evolve. 5. Recognition may not always match ownership Employees can end up owning significant initiatives without an immediate title change or formal role definition. The experience is valuable, but career progression should be discussed proactively.
