Pluspunten
1)Very good place to learn plenty of stuff. 1st, 2nd and 3rd line managers have to be open-mined to allow rotation of employees to various groups, especially for new-college grad hires. 2)Very good place to get H1-B visa and apply H1-B Change of Employer to another company :) 3)You can spend plenty of time at the Cafeteria, not good for career development though.
Minpunten
1)Engineer's talent and time is under utilized. 2)Appraisal system sucks, the percentage increment is very less, lesser than INFLATION :-0 Most of the teams formed in the Manufacturing has partiality. The manager is inclined to certain employees under him, he rewards them more than others. 3)Over-priced cafeteria, less food quantity, food quality is mediocre. 4)Very low base salary, not even comparable to other similar semiconductor companies. Easy 5 to 10K less. DO NOT THINK MALTA IS A CHEAP PLACE TO LIVE. HR is providing in-correct information about living expenses in the Malta/ Saratoga County region. 6)Do not expect Green Card process for EB1 or EB2 category unless you are at MTS position.
