Pluspunten
The majority of the employees are really good, friendly people. There has been a ton of turnover lately and even layoffs, but some good eggs have stuck around. Pretty much everyone works really hard and cares about their coworkers. New building is great.
Minpunten
Honestly, the company has shifted from caring about culture (although they won't quite admit it...), to hire and maintain based on enterprise experience, performance and skill set. This makes sense from a business standpoint, because sales and quality of production is struggling, but it also has a major affect on the culture and atmosphere in the company. It presents some shady situations. If employees are going to be paid less and told growth opportunity will make up for that differential, but there is no opportunity for promotion or career growth, the argument is null. I was supposed to get a raise on April 1st, but there has been no communication whatsoever from my manager or notice of any change. I guess I'm making more money right now? Just an example of what it feels like as an employee of GuideSpark, usually the "little guy" is the last to know of changes in the company, even when it pertains to his personal income.
