You are a glorified recruiter - this is not "Scientific and Technical Consulting" as they advertise around college campuses. The culture is brutal - Absolutely nobody I talked to enjoyed working there. Work is extremely mundane and management gets promoted to managerial positions based on time spent in the recruiter roles and not based on their ability to manage humans. Pay is bad - All Guidepoint competitors pay more and even then the average salary for these companies is low. They dangle a quarterly $500 (MAXIMUM) bonus in front of you if you outperform all of your peers. If you're reading this, you likely have a degree from a good university and were pitched the ability to network with some great industry leaders in this role by working to add them to Guidepoint's network and get them to consult. The actuality of this job is that you copy and paste the same message on LinkedIn to people, harassing them to join Guidepoint's network at times. There is no personal networking. There is no skills you can ascertain as a young professional in this role. There is no personal fulfillment you get in this role. Avoid this company like the plague. Also! A quick little Google search will show you some pretty fun recent lawsuits against Guidepoint for discrimination and retaliation.
