Their vacation policy is one of the best in any industry. The people that you work with on a daily basis are some of the finest folks you will ever meet and for the most part I was allowed to work without micromanagement and without anyone watching what time I came in or went out. If you work hard in some areas you get leeway to work how you want to and if you need to say go to a doctors appointment or a graduation during the day, I can say I was never penalized. Also, even though there is supposed to be a two week minimum notice to ask for time off, my bosses were never strict dictators because they understand that life happens. Again, the people you work with daily and SOME of the managers there are amazing people.

Salaries suck and negotiating after accepting a position is fruitless! Using competing job offers after being employed there or even threatening to leave is a hit or miss (mostly miss) strategy. Bonuses are mostly good, sometimes 7-10% of your income but the starting salary is horrible. They will use any excuse to not give you a pay raise. I went more than 4 years once without a pay increase and it wasn’t due to my work ethic or the fact I wasn’t worth it. After presenting my reasons for at least being paid in the range the market said I was worth, I got multiple excuses as to why no raises were given. I won’t repeat them here but I decided that any company that believes you can be paid lower than the bottom end of the market range and easily replaced, is not a company I should stick with so I left. My income went up 40% with my next company and I’ve gotten rave reviews after less than a year of service, the same reviews I got while working with HEICO.

None whatsoever! .....Besides the fact that the place will remind you to appreciate those in your life like friends and family that both love and care for you because you will not find love here!

Way too many to count! I quite frankly don't even know where to begin. First thing is that this place will 100% try to take advantage and exploit you for every bit of life energy that you have. I have never worked in a place as close to as bad as Inertial before. Management here is extremely toxic and horrible! The General Manager is very old school and treats his employees not like humans but as his own property. He doesn't act friendly at all to folks that work for him and micromanages literally every employee with cameras everywhere. Rules are very strict around when you can go to the bathroom along with taking breaks. I know this sounds very strange given we are in the 21st century but the General Manager is literally stuck in the 1800s with his very conservative views. Besides the General Manager, you have other managers that do not know how to properly treat their employees. I have seen extremely high turnover especially in Accounting because the Controller is an absolutely awful person to work with because he isn't human in the inside. I see the way he abuses his employees by using them as scapegoats for his incompetency as he clearly has no care for those under him. HR is another problem as HR is extremely unprofessional and rude in terms of how they address employees in the company. HR at inertial is extremely aggressive and likes to engage to verbal combats over petty issues and start needless drama because they are not civil people. I have also seen employees drop everything they were doing just to go snitch on one another to each other's managers on issues like being in the bathroom or using your phone because people here don't know any better. Most of all, the atmosphere is very very heavy because people are not happy here. All the employees know that they are not in a good place and can't do much about it. The place truly lacks culture! You might be wondering how this company is this awful, it is because this place over the years has retained awful people because birds of the same feather fly together kind of like how the bad kids in school hang out together. The managers here cannot exist in organizations where there is culture and expectations of politeness so they thrive at Inertial given the General Manager doesn't care about his employees so he appreciates managers that are rude and abusive. I have seen kind and caring people come and quickly leave because they do not want to associate with bad people and bad people of course stay and come back. The business is also super niche and doesn't have perfect competition because it has few competitors and as a result, it gets away with practices that would otherwise have resulted in a business going bankrupt such as paying employees low wages and treating them terribly. Don't expect a raise here and upward mobility here. In the end, do not work here for your own emotional well being and sanity! Anywhere is truly better than this place, even flipping burgers at fast food no kidding.
