This was the shortest job in my life.I worked only one day.The company staff were friendly, the onboarding process was fine, and I genuinely liked my first working day.At the end of the day, at one customer’s location, the gate did not open. I lightly touched it with two fingers, without applying any force, but this had no effect at all. After a few minutes, the gate opened on its own, apparently after the homeowner repeatedly pressed the control button.Later that evening, I received a call from support saying that I had allegedly damaged the gate after the customer complained.I was never officially informed that I was dismissed. My shifts were simply removed from the schedule. I only found out that I was fired a few days later through the employment agency, as my contact person was off that day.
I find this situation unfair, especially considering it was my very first day and there was no proper investigation or clear communication.
