Where to even begin. Company's slogan is "Every self better". This does not extend to the employees. They can and likely will become worse and are be gaslit and blamed for it. Senior leadership harp on about growth, while not having adequate systems in place for the volume that we currently have.
There is frankly nothing that you can say to the CEO that will make him see sense, which is deeply unfortunate, as the company's mission in theory is a good one. The meetings that departments had with him were either us repeatedly telling him vital improvements that we needed in order to allow things to flow more smoothly, or his opportunity to ramble about his AI hyperfixation. In either case, they were always a waste of time.
Any valid critique on the systems in place and suggestions for improvement are ignored at best and viewed as negativity at worst. People who make those suggestions are eventually viewed as a problem are either made uncomfortable enough to leave or made redundant in the inevitable next round of layoffs.
In place of functioning systems, they've implemented wellbeing sessions, ostensibly to mitigate against the stress and burnout caused by the inadequate systems in place, so that they can say that they've done all that they can to prevent stress without doing the necessary work to improve the system at hand.
