      Minpunten

      Small company, nowhere to go but sideways. You're either an employe or a VP. There's nothing in between. No room to grow as a professional As a small start-up, everybody is expected to be "on" at all times. No real personal time when you're home. The phone must be on you at all times, and you need to be ready to jump on your computer and respond immediately, especially with the bigger clients. It's exhausting.

      Pluspunten

      I was free to innovate and experiment with UI/UX concepts. In addition, the web development group was supportive and helpful. I enjoyed writing code. At the end of the day, it always felt good to produce work that I could be proud of.

      Minpunten

      HubCast was a startup company that went out of business because the value proposition was a hard sell to stakeholders. Saving $1 million a year in print costs didn't resonate with senior managers and alike who lead companies generating billions in profits.

      Great business and technical concept.

      Minpunten

      No real vision or concept of how to market the technology. After so many years, they still are lost. They switched the focus from wholesale to retail and have continually been killed by Vista Print. Those that know HubCast are amazed that it is still hanging on. It is only a matter of time before the VC's who now control it will close the doors.
