Pluspunten

The owner has hired mainly young and talented employees in their corporate office with high career growth potential. A growing company like this should have a bright future with strong employee retention.

Minpunten

The owner refuses to relinquish any power or control. He does not communicate clearly with his employees and negates any opportunity for growth and empowerment. He expects all levels of employees to be factory-line assembly workers who does exactly what he wants, when he wants. Simple as that. This is a start-up company, not a factory in the 19th century.

Pluspunten

I have worked here over 2 years and have moved up twice already. Hard work pays off. My managers have all been good. Owners have been nice and helped me out twice when I needed it. No questions asked.

Minpunten

There isn't any down time. We probably need to hire more people. Always have too much to do.

Pluspunten

I learned a lot on the technical side of things from my direct manager. There was a good sense of humor in the office and people were, for the most part, supportive of one another. The content team seems to be on an upward journey. Very good group of people, if you stay long enough you're basically family. There is a lot of potential here, I just hope they use it.

Minpunten

There is a lot of gossip, unprofessionalism, inappropriate jokes, chatrooms made to complain about co-workers or managers, and the current location is only cleaned once a week (they are going to a new location in 2019, hopefully it'll be cleaned properly with the amount of employees there are). Management tries to be your friend, which in most cases ends up making them look like liars because there is a lot of talk and little action. The employees in content are over-worked, especially management which in turn gives everything a sense of urgency and anxiety. There is a well-known fear of the CEO, he may know your name but people talk about the couple of times he has fired people over disagreements. Leadership has a tendency to drop random projects they thought up over the weekend on the content team when their plates are already completely full, they are expected to add new projects and keep the same timelines for everything else.
